Bedbugs Treatment

Bedbugs are small, wingless pests which found all over the world. The first sign of a bedbug infestation can be the presence of bites on human body, feeding on blood.

A thorough inspection of your premises, especially the common hiding spots may also reveal the presence of bedbugs.
They are nocturnal parasites that mean they rest during the day and active at night.

Though, bedbugs are opportunistic and will bite in the day, especially if starved for some time. Bedbugs usually hide in bedding and on mattresses where they have easy way to a source of food.

They have a capability to stay alive without feeding for months at a time.
Bedbugs prefer to feed human blood, but can feed on other living organisms if necessary.

Bedbugs are attracted to body heat and the carbon dioxide while exhaling, which is how they find their host.  Bedbugs normally target the arms and shoulders.
During feeding, the bedbug’s proboscis (feeding organ) swings onward and downward to prick the skin of the victim. Saliva (containing an anticoagulant) is then injected, which creates an allergic reaction in several people. Feeding time of bedbugs is around 10 minutes.

Once the bedbug is puffed up with blood, its color changes from light brown to rust-red At Sydwide Pest Control we have qualified pest control operators, who first determine the extent of the infestation, and then we use registered pesticides to kill the bedbugs.
